The main character, Marius, is a confidence trickster who is just getting out of jail but bad things await on the outside. He comes up with a plan where he intends to assume the identity of a fellow inmate. Once out his plan seems to be working and everyone appears to be falling for the con mans charms- or do they?
After leaving prison, Marius takes cover from his past by assuming the identity of his cellmate, Pete. He moves in with Pete's long-estranged, unsuspecting family and is roped into the family's bail bond business. He's a criminal taking down other criminals.
